Bea González McDougle
Partner
Bea represents a variety of clients in the areas of government relations and issue management. She brings ten years of experience working with the legislative, regulatory and executive branch agencies in Virginia. She also represents clients at the national level by working with Attorneys General and Governors associations, as well as other national legislative organizations. Bea has been named one of the outstanding people in Richmond under the age of 40.
Before joining Capital Results, Bea worked with the government relations team at Troutman Sanders law firm. She also served as the Finance Director for the Republican Party of Virginia and as a consultant for the Republican National Committee and the National Rifle Association in Washington, DC.
Bea holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan. She serves on a number of community and charitable boards including the Board of Directors for the Hanover Tavern Foundation, the Glen Allen Cultural Arts Center, serves on the Pink Ribbons of Hope Golf Tournament Committee and the Key to the Cure Gala for the MCV Massey Cancer Center, and is involved in Republican groups accross the state such as the Hanover Republican women's club, of which she is a former President.
Interesting Facts:
• She learned a great deal as an intern at CNN in Washington, DC.
• Bea is an avid golfer and made two holes-in-one from the ladies tees at the ages of 12 & 13.
• Interest in politics came from her father's involvement in Puerto Rican politics.
