Jay oversees a number of major clients in the areas of strategic communications, coalition development and grassroots advocacy. His strength is using these techniques to help organizations achieve public policy their goals. He was recently featured in the Richmond Times-Dispatch for his work assisting United Airlines in getting a new international route from Washington to Beijing China.

Before joining Capital Results, Jay served as Special Assistant to Governor George Allen in the areas of communications, policy and research. Jay continued working for Governor Allen through his statewide political action committee and campaign for United States Senate.

Jay holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree and Master's of Public Administration (MPA) from Virginia Tech. He is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and serves as a weekly tutor for a disadvantaged student in the Richmond area. He also served three years
as a mentor to an elementary school student through the Church Hill Activity and Tutoring (CHAT) program.
