Joy Bechtold Jones

Joy works in a number of key areas including legislative affairs, strategic communications, issue management and community affairs. The bulk of Joy's experience has been in the health care sector, where she has managed legislative, communications, coalition building and grassroots mobilization initiatives.

Joy previously managed community relations for a national health insurance company. She has also worked in the legislative affairs department at a Richmond-based law firm, was the director of policy for the Virginia Association of Health Plans, and served as a legislative aide in the Maryland General Assembly.

Joy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and journalism from Randolph- Macon College in Ashland, Virginia. She is active in local community affairs, serving on the boards of Connor's Heroes Foundation and the Rx Partnership.
