Townsend Hunn

Townsend works with a variety of clients managing media relations, advertising and public education campaigns. She develops communications plans, implements earned media strategy, places advertising, and creates collateral materials. Her experience in the field has helped build a number of close working relationships with reporters in Virginia and the Southeastern United States.

Townsend previously served as the Assistant Press Secretary in the Office of the Attorney General under Mark Earley. In that role, she gave support in all areas of the communications department including media relations, research, and speechwriting.

Townsend holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Richmond where she was elected twice as President of her class. She also served as a trained speech consultant at the University's Speech Center where she worked with fellow students to improve their public speaking skills.
