Matt Klaman

Klaman graduated with honors from the Graphic Design Program at Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. While there, he studied under award winning designers and had the opportunity to attend lectures and workshops by renowned graphic designers from around the world. His work at VCU focused on logo design (identity design) and building brand strategies.

His jump from print to web design dates back to his senior year of high school, when he took a course on web design. The idea of designing for the masses on the web and working on a digital medium was intriguing to him. Because his interest was primarily in the creative design process, rather than the "building" process, Klaman decided to attend the nationally recognized program at VCU. He is self taught in valid/semantic HTML & CSS and is also a strong advocate of the ExpressionEngine content management system.

Before joining Capital Results as a graphic and web designer, Klaman worked at a small web design firm in Richmond, where he quickly climbed the ranks from Junior Designer to Creative Director.
