Meg Ryan O’Donnell

Meg helps businesses, non-profits, academia and government agencies achieve their goals through development and implementation of comprehensive and individualized communication strategies. She is well-connected with members of the North Carolina media and has helped clients navigate through public relations challenges. She has experience in local, state and federal policy-development and decision-making processes. She specializes in message development, advocacy campaigns, coalition building and crisis management.

Prior to joining Capital Results, Meg was President and Founder of Winning Strategies, a public affairs and event management firm in Raleigh. Among her accomplishments, she produced three official Inaugural Ceremonies for North Carolina governors; directed the government relations program for the North Carolina Centennial First Flight Celebration; and organized fundraising and tribute events for non-profit organizations, candidates for public office, governors and members of Congress. She worked in the United States Congress as a legislative assistant, press secretary and chief-of-staff.

Meg holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Denver. She resides in Raleigh with her husband, Tad, and her son, Mac.
