Steele moved to Richmond and joined Capital Results in January 2016. His main project areas include media relations, marketing and grassroots advocacy. He works with clients in a wide variety of fields ranging from healthcare and finance to arts and entertainment. With every client, he emphasizes ample research in order to better understand the client and to craft effective messages for them. Steele Develops communication plans and earned media strategies that have yielded great results for clients. He also assists in message development for grassroots initiatives at the local and statewide level. Before moving to Richmond, Steele worked on a campaign that successfully put a referendum to allow wine sales in grocery stores on Tennessee state election ballets in more than 80 localities. He is a member of the Richmond City Democratic Committee and regularly volunteers for candidates in the region. His prior experiences include working at two local public relations firms, a community magazine and Scripps Networks Interactive.
